Lauderdale by the Sea, FL

Updated: Nov 14, 2021

A small beachfront town of 6,000 residents on the Southeast coast of Florida and just North of Fort Lauderdale. It has beautiful white sand beaches, family owned hotels, shopping and many restaurants.

The town's motto is “Relax, You’re Here!” And you really get a sense of relaxation and of a time that has been waiting for you. Reminiscent of Florida in the 1950’s, it exudes old charm with low-rise downtown buildings and mostly mid-century modern architecture.

It's a short stroll to just about anywhere: the beach: Anglin's Fishing Pier, the eateries featuring a variety of cuisines, and cute shops lining Commercial Boulevard from Anglin's Square, the town's quaint oceanfront district, to the Intracoastal.

Living in Lauderdale by the Sea has a small town feeling with an urban neighborhood feel. You don’t need to go far to do your shopping with stores such as Publix, Walgreens, 7 Eleven, yoga studios, hardware stores, medical facilities, etc. The ocean view and the smell of saltwater and sunshine make you feel like you’re on vacation 24/7.
